description
The elegant CS Coupés are among the milestones from BMW - not least because of the fantastic, silky smooth six-cylinder engine. The vehicles were built by Karmann on behalf of BMW between December 1968 and December 1975. In autumn 1971, the 3.0 CSi with Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection was added as a further model variant, of which only 8144 vehicles were produced.
The Scuderia Sportiva Colonia has paid special attention to these elegant and technically sophisticated coupés. From our point of view, these BMW sports cars deserve even more attention. The gorgeous shape, the excellent chassis, the very good brakes and the powerful engine were the measure of all things in the early 1970s. The interior spoils the owner with luxurious materials, the seats are comfortable with acceptable lateral support and the individual VDO round instruments are a feast for the eyes. A very comfortable sports car to see and be seen with unmistakable DNA from its very successful touring car history.
our mission
In the course of our existence we have already been able to prepare more than 200 BMW E9 Coupés. We distinguish between substantially good to very good "used" items, which we reprocess optically and technically with manageable effort. Most of these vehicles come from Italy, Spain and southern France and have hardly ever experienced salty winter conditions.
In general, the Karmann body is the weak point of these magnificent coupés. At that time, the bodies were taken to Munich on trains across Germany to be completed and were partly exposed to the weather conditions without protection. No wonder that not only Father Frost, but also rust gnawed at the delicate Karmann welded construction very early on. At the end of the 1970s, the first E9s disappeared from scrap yards. We are also happy to buy BMW E9s that have been or have been restored, take on barn finds and then subject these vehicles to a complete restoration. Here no screw remains untouched and the vehicle is really completely disassembled and rebuilt. Here we work together with the leading European body shops, who are proven experts in the field of BMW coupés.
The overhaul work on the technology, such as engine and transmission overhaul, electrics, chassis and optimization, brakes are carried out in our house. You can expect a perfectly restored BMW E9 after completion and upon delivery. Of course, we can take individual special requests into account during the restoration, such as individual exterior paintwork, choice of materials and colors for the interior, chassis optimization, engine tuning, installation of a 5-speed gearbox, various wheel sets 14" and 16" FPS, Alpina, BBS or similar. So you can configure your individual E9.
