Scuderia Sportiva Colonia was founded in 2008 by Wolf-Rüdiger von Massow 

Since his youth and inspired by old movies, Matchbox cars, quartet games and Carrera track, he was interested in vehicles from the 50s to the 70s. Fascinated by the extraordinary design of this period, he acquired his first classic vehicles at an early age. This small collection was continuously expanded, so that now around 100 "sporty" classics are exhibited in the historic and extraordinary ambience in Kirchen. Many of these vehicles are also available for purchase. Classics for enthusiasts by an enthusiast.

Scuderia Sportiva Colonia is engaged in the preservation, restoration and trade of classic and sporty cars of the 50s, 60s and 70s. The preferred designers are Zagato, Vignale, Frua, Bertone, Pininfarina, Italdesign, Giugiaro and of course Touring. Scuderia Sportiva Colonia offers an all-round service with its affiliated restoration business and workshop. With highly qualified specialists, a self-developed 154-point service and inspection programme is offered for vehicles from the company's own stock.

In addition, engines, gearboxes, chassis and bodywork are restored across all brands and the corresponding interior is professionally repaired and rebuilt.

Further service modules are pick-up and delivery service, transport in closed vehicles, financing, insurance, set-up, storage and care of collections, spare parts procurement and, of course, vehicle brokerage.

In spring 2023, Wolf-Rüdiger von Massow founded Scuderia Sportiva Servizio GmbH in Dortmund (formerly Alfa Classic Center) together with two other enthusiasts and took over the management. Through the cooperation with Dortmund, the capacities in service, spare parts procurement and restorations have now been considerably expanded.

Scuderia Sportiva Colonia and, of course, Scuderia Sportiva Seervizio are committed to offering interested classic car enthusiasts an all-round carefree package. After all, driving a classic automobile should be as unadulterated a pleasure as possible and should always convey the pure and unadulterated joy of the automobile. That is what we are committed to.

The location

For more than 15 years, Scuderia Sportiva Colonia was actually also based in Cologne. In autumn 2023, the company moved to its new premises in an old locomotive factory in Kirchen/Sieg. In the new hall, the restoration, service and storage capacities will be considerably expanded.

The logo

The turtle first appeared as a symbol of whiteness and long life as Tazio Nuvolari's emblem in historic racing. The famous, infamous philosopher, politician, painter, writer, dandy and aesthete Gabriele D'Annunzio awarded it to him in the 1930s. It was chosen as the heraldic animal of the Scuderia Sportiva Colonia in memory of this unique racing driver.

 Our Team

We are proud to have gained a truly experienced and well-coordinated team for the restoration, repair, maintenance and care of our automotive treasures. Responsible for the technical department from the very beginning has been Eskil Haugen, who has also been interested in classic sports cars since childhood. His extensive technical knowledge has also earned him his nickname "Professor", but this means that he does not allow any compromises when it comes to workmanship and quality control. He is also happy to advise any interested party with his extremely well-founded knowledge.

Iris Stippler-von Massow works for us in purchasing and in looking after the French and Italian markets. In addition to her linguistic talent, she has an almost insatiable curiosity and interest in the history and anecdotes surrounding our beloved rarities. A special knowledge in mechanical engineering from her former job has grown into an invaluable asset for Scuderia Sportiva Colonia.

Cars instead of dolls has been Tatiana von Massow's motto since childhood. Due to her weakness for fashion and design, she automatically came into contact with classic cars at a very early age. Her professional experience and her language skills predestine her to look after our customers from the CIS states and Arab countries. Since spring 2023, she has also been a partner in Scuderia Sportiva Servizio GmbH in Dortmund, where she contributes her management experience.
